1. Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), Delhi
Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) was founded in the year 1926 by Sir Shri Lala Ram. SRCC is one of the earliest Commerce and Economics institutes of India. SRCC is a specialized constituent college of the Delhi University located in North Delhi, India. Initially, SRCC was a Commercial School. Later on in 1932, it was converted into a degree college. SRCC is one of the best institutes for higher studies in Commerce and Economics in India. The institute started awarding undergraduate degrees in 1932 and graduate degrees in 1948. SRCC received its present name and form in the year 1951. Even though SRCC has accepted female students since 1933, but it truly became co-educational only in 1957.
