School Loop is used by approximately 1400 schools in 100 districts as their homework-online service. For logging in, you have to visit Vip.Sc.Edu. At the homepage of Vip.Sc.Edu, you will find the “login” option. Click on “login” option; enter your My VIP ID and password or a valid USC ID number and PIN then click on “login” option. If you are new at Vip.Sc.Edu, then click on “first time users” option. Password restrictions:

Password must be 8 – 14 characters and must meet at least three of the following:

• One or more numeric characters (0-9)
• One or more lowercase alphabetic characters (a-z)
• One or more uppercase alphabetic characters (A-Z)
• One or more special characters (!@#$%^&*-+= etc)

You need to login to VIP using your University ID (SSN) and 4-digit PIN to reset your My VIP ID Password. Then link to Personal and “show me My VIP ID and password”. If you are a student and forgot your PIN, then to reset your PIN for VIP, go to “forgot your password” link to the PIN set/reset page. On this page, you must provide some identifying information in order to obtain a new provisional PIN, which will be sent to your University Email address. If you want to change your preferred name, for that you have to login in https://go.sfu.ca/. Then, scroll down to the header, you will find personal information option, click on the names and click Edit beside the Preferred Name.
