Gautam Adani, the Gujarat-based industrialist chairman and managing director of Adani group, will bid for the Ahmedabad franchise of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2011. The Adani Group has decided to bid for the new Ahmedabad franchise. The bids was opened on Sunday, March 7. The bids winners will be announced by the invitation to tender. There are presently eight IPL franchises and the IPL governing council will add two more new franchises for IPL 2011.
