GradeSpeed is a web-based program that allows parents to log-in to access and view his/her child’s grade and attendance data and assignments on one easy page. DoDEA has applied an online authorized and supported grade book application for grades 4-12. It helps to access their child’s assignments and grades online, which is a powerful feature of this application. There are three different login portals within GradeSpeed. GradeSpeed is the most efficient and easy to use grade book on the market. GradeSpeed is included in one of DoDEA’s uninterrupted improvement programs designed to ensure highest student achievement. Parents can login at GradeSpeed to view grade and attendance data, school announcements and calendar events only for their student.

Parents must keep in mind the following information as this program is implemented:

• Be aware that the prospect at the building level for updating grades and assignments in the grade book is not daily or hourly. They feel the teachers’ non-teaching time is best spent planning, preparing and assessing instruction rather than concentrating on entering grades. Each teacher’s timeline for grade entry will vary so you may check with the teacher to get an idea of how often you can expect grades to be updated.
• Questions concerning what is viewable in ParentConnection should be directed to the teachers as the data they enter may differ from teacher to teacher.
• Parents and sponsors should limit electronic communication through the ParentConnection ‘Notes to Teachers‘ feature to only essential and reasonable communications. Please utilize the notes for appropriate written communication and avoid excessive use of the feature.

If you want to Login to GradeSpeed grading system as Student, then you have to visit www.eu.dodea.edu. This site displays the features of ‘Student Connection Login’ at the top-center of the website. Hit on it and reach at Student Login page. Now, select your School, enter your Username, Password and then click on the “Sign In” button.
