UH PeopleSoft stands for University of Houston PeopleSoft. You can get all its services after logging at myUH. Login process is very quick and simple. The information of UH PeopleSoft, login to myUH, University of Houston PeopleSoft Project is provided below.
To handle all student information such as schedules, courses, grades, records, transcripts, etc., PeopleSoft’s Student Administration software was implemented by the University of Houston System. To accommodate registration for the fall 2007 semester, the new software went live in March 2007. University of Houston, UH-Victoria and UH-Clear Lake, all three universities are now in sync with the completion of this phase of the implementation. A devoted Project Team worked with staff, faculty, students, administrators, and consultants for two years to convert data and processes to PeopleSoft. They have also conducted extensive testing, begun in early Fall 2006 and continuing throughout Go-Live as new features are introduced.
PeopleSoft Student Administration is a complex information system, which will offer UHS with:
- Increased university-wide data integration
- A platform for future innovation
- Improved system support for UHS business processes
- The ability to enhance reporting and data analysis capabilities
Training Timeline–How will you learn PeopleSoft?
Staff:
- All presently active ADMIN consumers will alter to PeopleSoft Student Administration as of March 07 for data related to the Fall 07 semester (Spring 07 and Summer 07 will be in the old ADMIN system).
- Training is in 3 steps in order to get access:
1) Experiencing Change (strongly recommended first step–you can request a session for a group now. See Training Sessions)
2) Intro to PS Student Admin (mandatory second step–now available online. See Intro to PS Student Admin)
3) Role-based Training (mandatory prerequisite: INTRO to PS Student Admin) Role-based Training will roll out as each functionality is needed
- February/March role-based training will take users through need-to-know processes for March/April/May
- May/June role-based training will take users through need-to-know processes for June/July/August
- July/August role-based training will take users through need-to-know processes for September/October/November
Students:
- Both UH and at UH-Victoria, students will have a new student self service page to access their enrollment services. Spring 07 and Summer 07 information and services will continue to be delivered through Enrollment Services Online–Fall 07 services and activities will be in the new PeopleSoft application
- Students will initially access their new Student Self Service page by logging in to the existing link for Enrollment Services Online at UH or UHV. Once logged in, students choose whether they wish to do transactions for Spring/Summer (and will be linked to the old ADMIN system) or transactions for Fall 07 (and will be provided their new PeopleSoft ID and a login)
- Online tutorials, demo sessions, handouts & training for staff and advisors will be provided
Faculty:
- Faculty will have a new Faculty Self Service page to access their class schedules and student rosters. They will enter grades online as of the end of the Fall 07 semester
- Online tutorials, demo sessions, handouts and training for faculty and for support staff will be provided beginning Spring 07
- Training and hands-on help sessions for entering grades into PeopleSoft will be provided for faculty during the Fall 07 semester
Intro to PeopleSoft Student Administration:
Intro to Student Admin (ONLINE) instructs the basic structure and navigation for the PeopleSoft Student Admin application, including, for instance, PS terminology, Academic Structure, Effective Dating, and Search/Match. This training is interactive. All staff using PeopleSoft Student Admin at UH and UHV have to complete this training previous to their role-based training. For more information, click here.
How to login to myUH?
If you want to get services of UH PeopleSoft then you have to login to myUH. For that you have to enter your 7 digit user ID and password then click on sign in option. If you have forgot your user ID or password then you can request for new password or user ID by clicking on request a new password or request my user ID respectively.
To gain access to the MyUH Student Administration Security system, MyUH Student Administration Security Access Request form and Confidentiality Statement are required.
