Many people try to get scholarship for their children for their better future. Now it is good news for those people who are not able to make their child’s future. This news is for students who are studying in 4th to 9th standard as they have chance to get the scholarships. After the evaluation, five thousand students will obtain the scholarship.

Evaluation is conducted in three bases:

• Last 2 years performance in the school
• Extracurricular activities and Sports competitions won in intra-school, inter-school, state level and national level
• Final written tests are also conducted

Registration & Eligibility:

• Just you need to visit its official site and register online. At the same time registration forms are distributed in selected schools.
• Only children’s who are studying in India from 4th to 9th standard can participate. NRI student cannot participate in this scholarships program.
• It is free Scholarships program and also it is not linked up with any product of HDFC Bank.

After registration you will receive an email and SMS on your mobile number which you have provided at the time of registration. You can also go to the website www.hdfcbank.com/meritus and easily check the status of your application form by registration number. All children can participate in this Scholarships Program, it is not necessary to be a customer of HDFC Bank.

After the registration, a test will be conducted on phone through their Interactive Voice Recording System (IVR) or Online. Interactive Voice Recording is a technology which allows computer to know inputs when you press the numbers on your phone. Through IVR technology two tests rounds are conducted where

• Participants are asked the questions automatically over the phone by the computer
• Participant has to select the correct answer by pressing 1, 2 or 3 on his phone keypad
• Participant is given step by step instructions by the IVR on how to proceed further and complete the test

There are three easy steps to take the IVR based test:

• Participant needs to call the IVR number specified in the Registration Form
• Participant needs to call within the dates communicated via SMS & E-mail
• Participant needs to dial from the REGISTERED NUMBER (Residence/Parent’s Mobile No.)
