The 2010 82nd Academy Award was held on last Sunday night in the Hollywood section of Los Angeles. The winner of the 2010 Academy Award for Best Original Song goes toThe Weary Kind” from Crazy Heart Lyric by Ryan Bingham and T Bone Burnett. There are five nominees for the Best Original Song but Bingham and T Bone beat the other nominees and won the Oscar. Bingham said for both while T Bone thanked their families and the cast/crew from the movie.

  • Down in New Orleans” from The Princess and the Frog Music and Lyrics by Randy Newman
  • Loin de Paname” from Paris 36 Music by Reinhardt Wagner Lyrics by Frank Thomas
  • Take It All” from NineMusic and Lyrics by Maury Yeston
  • The Weary Kind (Theme from Crazy Heart)” from Crazy Heart Music and Lyrics by Ryan Bingham and T Bone Burnett

But the award won by Ryan Bingham and T Bone Burnett. The song is quite pretty and sweet. Bingham and T Bone beat out the other nominees and won the award.

Crazy Heart, the film was written and directed by Scott Cooper. “The Weary Kind” is the theme song of the movie “Crazy Heart” with music and lyrics by Ryan Bingham and T. Bone Burnett and the song has won the 2010 Academy Award for Best Original Song. The song was awarded the 2010 Best Original Song Golden Globe Award before this year. Ryan Bingham performed the song. Jeff Bridges and Maggie Gyllenhaal were nominated for their performances in the film. Crazy Heart has 16 tracks, all the tracks are superb and meaningful.
