2010 Federal US Government Holidays – US Federal Reserve Holidays in 2010
Federal Government published holiday list for calendar years 2010. The U.S. Office of Personnel Management website www.opm.gov announces federal holidays when government employees get off work. Most of federal employees work on Monday to Friday schedule, but for these employees, when a holiday falls on Saturday or Sunday — the holiday generally is observed on Monday (if the holiday falls on Sunday) or Friday (if the holiday falls on Saturday). On this day many government offices, businesses and banks will be closed. Government employees will have almost 10 federal holidays in 2010.
