Katt Williams arrested for Burglary
Famous comedian and rapper Katt Williams was arrested on Sunday night November 8 outside of Atlanta after supposedly breaking into a home and stealing thousands of dollars worth of jewelry and coins. Due to this reason Katt Williams is charged with burglary and criminal trespassing, according to Coweta County Sheriff’s Office Maj. James Yarbrough. On Monday night, Katt Williams was released on bond after police said that they arrested the entertainer for breaking into a home and stealing jewelry and coins.
William had begun his career as a stand-up comic, gaining attention in 1999 for comedy. He has acted in several movies including Eddie Murphy’s “Norbit” and his voice is popular for cartoons including “The Boondocks”. His recent CD release is “It’s Pimpin’ Pimpin’.”
The 38 years old Katt Williams had appeared in court at 4 pm on Monday because of accused of stealing jewelry and collectible coins worth 3,555 dollars. Yarbrough said it happened at a home in Newnan, about 38 miles southwest of Atlanta. In addition to it, he also told that Daniel Broach, the unidentified homeowner called police around 9 pm to report Williams broke into his home and stole items.
After discussion magistrate of Coweta County had set bail of about $41,000 in a hearing on Monday afternoon for Katt Williams. It is not known yet on what charges he is facing.
