Short story of the movie Veer:

Veer is an epic film set in 1825 when the British were ruling in India. The bravest, toughest, and strongest of the Pindaris is Veer (Salman Khan), who plays a warriors role in this movie. The new look of Salman khan with long hair, 6 pack abs, and a bronzed appear suits him.

Veer takes on the might of the British Empire so he has to fight with the conniving King of Madavgarh as well as his own jealous tribesmen. Veer is caught in a battle among the British and his own people, besides with sorting out his own differences with the King of Madavgarh (Mithun). Then the things turn uglier when he falls in love with princess Yashodhara (Zarine Khan), daughter of his sworn enemy, throwing his life into a toss.

The story of the movie shows how Veer copes with his troubles and faces the demons outside and within him. As an evil battle ensues between the clashing kingdoms, blood flows all around. Will Veer get the support of her love Yashodhara? What will happen when princess father come to know about Yashodhara and Veer’s love? What will Veer do to get his love? Veer movie is directed by Anil Sharma who has made Bollywood blockbusters like Gadar – Ek prem Katha, soundtrack is composed by the famous duo, Sajid-Wajd while the lyrics are written by Oscar winning lyricist Gulzar. Salman Khan wrote the story 20 years ago and he told that it is his dream project. Salman had moved out on a special diet and worked out with a personal trainer in order to almost double his total weight for his role as Veer. Action director Tinu Verma observed the descendants of the Pindaris, studying their warfare style and body movements to maintain historical accuracy for the film.
