The official website of the Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) is www.rwsentosa.com. In the year 2010, the $6.59 billion must-see destination greeted its first visitors on its soft opening at 12.18 pm. The casino was opened as part of the initial phase of opening of Singapore’s first IR on Jan 2010 with four hotels: Hotel Michael, Crockfords Tower, Hard Rock Hotel and Festive Hotel Singapore.

With the starting of Tiger year, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) was started with soft-opening of its casino and a preview opportunity to amble through the amazing environments at Universal Studios Singapore and shopping venues. Singapore’s biggest Integrated Resort is owned and operated by Resorts World Sentosa Private Limited which is one of the leisure and gaming companies. This mega resort is located on Singapore’s holiday island of Sentosa which covers 49-hectare. Resorts World Sentosa includes four hotels, Resorts World Casino, Universal Studios Singapore® family theme park and MICE facilities that include one of Asia’s largest Grand Ballrooms. Resorts World Sentosa announced to add 2 new hotels, The Marine Life Park and the Maritime Experiential Museum in subsequent stages of the resort’s growth.

A wide range of entertainment and shows, as well as celebrity chef restaurants, brand-name boutiques and a half-kilometer long shopping and dining Strip named Festive Walk are also offered by Resorts World Sentosa. The debut of its public attraction, Lake of Dreams, and evening previews at its Universal Studios theme park includes a day of festivities at the Integrated Resort which has been planned to mark the red-letter day. Genting Singapore Public Limited Company (PLC) owns Resorts World Sentosa which is leisure and Gaming Company listed on the main board of the Singapore Exchange. The Genting is part of Group Genting Singapore PLC that is scheduled in Malaysia.

Resorts World Sentosa has attractions like Universal Studios Singapore, Marine Life Park, Marine Xperiential Museum, FestiveWalk; Entertainment and Nightlife life Voyage de la Vie and Gaming; Hotels like Crockfords Tower, Hotel Michael, Hard Rock Hotel, Festive Hotel, Equarius Hotel and Spa Villas; Meetings and events; shopping and dining; spa; kids club; gaming and gallery. In the Universal Studios Singapore, the price of the ticket is S$66 for adult and S$48 for children and for weekend, S$72 for adult and S$52 for children. Tickets are available in the three varieties i.e. One-day ticket, two-day ticket and Annual Passes. For annual passes, price is not yet declared. Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. You can use cash, NETS, major credit and debit cards to purchase tickets. They also provide three attractive maps i.e. Vicinity Map, Resorts World Sentosa Map, and Universal Studios Singapore® Map which help you to find your way. You can also book your hotel online. For Hotel booking, you have to tick on the Hotel only or Attraction only option. After that, write check-in and check-out date. Then select hotel and write details about number of rooms, adults per room, children per room and press ‘check availability’ option.
