Conan’s “Mine That Bird” Rumor

Before Conan O’Brien takes his final Tonight Show bow, he is apparently on a mission to cost NBC as much money as possible. Mine That Bird was the winner of 2009 Kentucky Derby; on Thursday, 21 January night’s show featured a senseless spending on Mine That Bird. The bit will cost NBC a whopping $4.8 million, said by Conan on air. On the Tonight Show, Conan claimed that on his final two days they will be having a lot of fun on television. Tonight Show had a lot of surprises planned; that he thought would blow viewers’ minds, said by him.

Conan really had the studio purchase Mine That Bird, or if he was just referring to what it would value to own the racing horse, it is slightly doubtful (unclear). It is unsure how much the mink horse snuggie or restricted NFL footage account for that $4.8 million price tag due to he also did not break down the costs of sketch element. Conan introduced a $1.5 million bit/character, the ‘Bugatti Veyron Mouse’, on Wednesday’s “Tonight Show”. Wednesday night’s mascot may have missed the mark in the cost department, reported by ABC News. NBC had existing agreements with music licensing companies. This would prevent any cost from live or time-delayed performances that is told by Entertainment lawyer Steve Gordon to ABC. If the Mine That Horse sketch misses its estimated $4.8 million blow, it will be interesting to find out.

This is just a tip…the horse on the Tonight Show was not Mine That Bird; Conan was just saying that to be funny.

Mine That Bird is a dark brown/bay horse, whereas the horse on the show was a bright red chestnut.
