Flexible Spending Account is one of the numbers of tax-advantaged financial accounts. Employees are provided these plans with tax relief for their un-reimbursed medical and dependent day-care costs. Employees are allowed to utilize pre-tax dollars and save Federal, FICA with FSAs. While in most cases, traditional insurance plans do not cover state taxes, when paying for eligible expenses. However, a part of money deducted from employee’s pay into FSA is not subject to payroll taxes, follow-on in a substantial payroll tax savings.

FSAs have been available for many years, the consumer-driven healthcare emergence and increased employee cost-sharing has created them an integral benefits solution to provide substantial tax savings to employers and employees.

The three types of Flexible Spending Accounts are as under:

  • Commuter Reimbursement Accounts: Accounts used to pay for eligible transportation and parking expenses.

    I recieved the credit card and do not realize it was for my medical rebursement account. I cut it up. I need to get anohter, would you rely to me how I can get another.

    RxBib 012825 Group #R000000220 Submit claims as my card was disabled & I had $189.00 still in the account so I submitted the Claims about the end of Oct., I still have not heard anything. When I call I’m put on hold too long.
    Would appreciate a reply as when I left my SS# they spoke about Dec 3rd and the amounts, thats all I know.
