For using the OG&E Online Billing & Payment System, you have to register for their online services by clicking on “register” option and following instructions. Existing users can login with their username and password. After logging in, click on “pay bill” option and follow the simple instructions to complete the payment process. The online bill pay is free. You do not need to pay any for the sign-up, transaction or service.
OG&E offers many user-friendly options to managing your energy budget. You can choose the option, which suits you best. OG&E offers the convenience of paperless billing, an environmentally conscious choice. Paperless billing can also save your time and money, less paper to print and mail your bill, less fuel to deliver it, less mail for you.
OG&E wants to meet the needs of many customers, who have requested an option to stop receiving paper bills so it offers paperless billing. Paperless is better for the environment due to less paper used to print the bills and less fuel used to deliver them. OG&E never charges any cost on sign-up, transaction or service fees on paperless billing. Customers are choosing paperless billing due to it is the most environmentally friendly choice; it is more secure because there is no paper trail and it is convenient and easy. By going paperless, you can also get your bill sooner; you do not have to wait to receive your bill in the mail.
During peak summer demand hours, this rewards decreased usage. June through September, you will receive a much lower rate during off-peak hours but pay a higher rate during its peak load hours, excluding weekends and holidays. You will also pay a time-of-use meter charge. Time-of-Use customers revert to OG&E’s standard rates during the winter season.
Average Monthly Billing:
Average Monthly Billing plan is designed to level out those unusually high bills that happen during months of high electricity use. For electricity, your total annual cost remains the same, but you have the convenience of a more consistent bill each month.
Guaranteed Flat Bill
Guaranteed Flat Bill (GFB) plan means paying the same monthly amount for your electric bill for one full year regardless how much electricity you use in summer heat or winter cold. Due to changes in fuel prices or electric rates, there are no increases. GFB has no rollover feature that constantly changes your monthly bill unlike its Average Monthly Billing Plan. During your GFB enrollment period when you complete the one-year agreement, you are not liable for any overage. GFB is open for Oklahoma customers only. Some conditions apply.
Your electric bill is automatically deducted from your checking or savings account each month with Auto Pay. You will still get an OG&E bill every month that shows your usage and the date your payment will be withdrawn from your bank account. If you have questions about your bill, you will have 10 days from the date your bill is mailed to contact OG&E to stop the withdrawal.
