You should not get me wrong, I am not knocking IKEA, or similar inexpensive manufacturers, however it is how it is, "low-cost knockoffs". It is up to the individual to make the decision whether or not they really want a family table as an investment or if they prefer a knock-off piece to temporarily present "a look". I enjoy the range here, I'm a fan of the Cherner and the modern day clean lines of the Blue Dot. As for practicality, to each their own. I choose to not have friends sitting uncomfortably on the ends of a table, grinding knees with all the other guests. This dining room table presents a lovely setting for discussion with out sacrificing style.So very useful.
