Indian Premier League (IPL) 2010 will be held in March. IPL Twenty20 2010 is planned by BCCI and the Chairman & Commissioner of IPL, Vice President of BCCI Lalit Modi. Now the third season of IPL is planned from 12th of March to April 25th 2010 and held in India again. There are four new location added for IPL match like Nagpur, Vishakhapatnam, Ahmedabad and Dharamsala. Extra changes are removal of icon players and granting permission to players who were concerned in the Indian Cricket League to play in the IPL twenty20 2010. The more information about IPL 2010 and its match results are mentioned below.

In the third season of IPL, there are 11 players were sold out of 66 players on offer. In the selection of players Pakistan players are not included. Thus, Pakistan interior minister Rehman Malik was signifying that the Pakistani players had been “insulted”. The Indian External Affairs minister SM Krishna clarified that “The government has nothing to do with the selection of players for sporting events.

The first season of the IPL was held in 2008. In final match of first season Rajasthan Royals won the match against Chennai Super Kings at the DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai. Due to Indian general elections in 2009, the Indian Central Government refused to release the Indian paramilitary forces to provide security, therefore the second season of the IPL was held outside of India, in South Africa. Deccan Chargers became final winners of the second season of IPL.

IPL twenty20 includes Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings, Deccan Chargers, Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils. The few changes are being in the strategic timeout of IPL. The strategic timeout is cut from seven minutes break to five minutes.The timeout which will be compulsory for both side and will be divided into two breaks of equal time duration. This time is taken by bowling team between 6-10 over and the batting team between 11 and 16 over.

One match is increased as compared to last two edition of IPL twenty20 to decide the third team for the CL t20. This match will be played amid loser of 1st semi final and 2nd semi final, and then at the result, the winning team will be the third qualifier for Champions twenty20 league 2010. During this IPL 2010, 56 matches will be played between eight teams. Out of 8 teams 4 teams will get maximum number of points and qualify for the semi finals match which will be held on 21st and 22nd April in M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. The final match of IPL twenty20 2010 will be played on 25th of April at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai. Before five days of the World twenty20, the IPL twenty20 2010 will be finished.
